"Don't Litigate -- Mediate!"

Frequently Asked Questions about Divorce Mediation

  • How are payments handled?

I operate on a "pay-as-you-go system" for the time I spend on your account. This means that payment is due at the end of each session.  The only exception to this is the finalizing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which is prepaid.  Keep in mind that in addition to the face-to-face meetings with clients, my time may be spent talking with neutral experts, preparing documents or performing analysis for a client meeting.  I do not "nickel and dime" my clients, as this tends to inhibit open conversation.

I accept credit cards via PayPal or checks for payment.  If a client wants to use a different method of payment, arrangements must be agreed to in advance.  A final MOU will not be released if there is a balance on the client's account.
