Frequently Asked Questions about Divorce Mediation

  • What is the appointment cancellation policy?

Since appointments are made far in advance and I may need to reserve meeting space (depending on the location you choose), it is expected that all parties will honor their meeting commitments.  To this end, I have the following no-show and cancellation policy for divorce mediations:

    • Either party is a no-show or cancels within 24 hours of the meeting: Both parties will be charged as if the 90 minute meeting had taken place
    • Either party cancels within 72 hours of the meeting: Both parties will be charged for a 45 minute meeting (plus any pre-meeting preparation time)

It is solely at my discretion as to whether to enforce these policies and to what degree.
