"Don't Litigate -- Mediate!"

Frequently Asked Questions about Divorce Mediation

  • What if my attorney doesn't want me to go through mediation?

Keep in mind that your attorney works for you and not the other way around.  Your attorney is required to advise you what they feel is in your best interest but the final decision on how to proceed is always in your hands.  My experience is that many attorneys do not understand mediation, how it works and the benefits it can bring their clients.

I can provide a list of mediator-friendly attorneys for you to use if you need that.
